This job’s main duty is handling complex end-user support issues and providing support to team members by focusing on restoring service to the end users. You should also know how your role as the Help Desk Analyst relates to IT projects and IT Service Management initiatives. One of the most important things to understand for this position is Incident, Problem, Change Management and other processes. Candidates should also be aware of how these processes work together to provide superior support and high availability of our business. This position sometimes includes creating knowledge articles and arranging training for on-boarding employees when needed.

Major responsibilities
– Understand concepts related to networks, servers, Macs/PCs, databases, proprietary systems, etc.
– Maintain hardware and peripherals: Responsible for upgrading and replacing computer parts; handle documentation and asset inventory
– If you can facilitate user account management by handling onboarding, change and departure processes, you’ll do well in this job
– Meet and exceed SLA standards: Close tickets in a timely manner, while upholding customer service standards
– Provide IT guidance to end-users
– Understand and utilize ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) and how they are used in a corporate environment
– Troubleshoot end user issues: Provide root-cause analysis on various web and mobile applications; handle escalated tickets relating to server/network related issues

Requirements
– Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
– Proven knowledge of Slack
– Zoom experience
– Customer service experience
– Expertise in Mac OS
– General familiarity with Troubleshoot Hardware
– Quality experience with hardware & software installation
– Well-founded grasp of Vendor Relations
– Mac Computers experience
– Experience with Google Suite
– Practical knowledge of Hardware Devices
– Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
– Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
– This position will be the best fit for a candidate with technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems
– Applicants with a combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude will be preferred
– 3+ years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies
– Capable of analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
– Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
